Founded in 2025, HongoHarvest is fueled by the urge to drive national and community transformation through extensive involvement of the Youth in climate-smart agriculture, inclusive employment creation, and leadership development, contributing to Zambia’s food security, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth, restoring dignity to farming while aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
One of our key goals is to bridge climate adaptation with food security, aligning with SDG No. 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG No. 13 (Climate Action), building resilience in the food system.
We are on a mission to develop high-impact agricultural zones powered by water reservoirs and sustainable irrigation.
